Elopement

Traditionally, the elopement was considered a secret escape, unplanned and unexpected, that involves only the couple. Now, the couples tend to organize it, trying to realize their romantic love dream. It is very easy to find dreamy places, because there aren’t too many guests.

It is usually organized in the same place, from ceremony to lunch/dinner.
Amalfi Coast is, maybe, the most dreamier place for the perfect elopement in Italy and in the world. The sea, the landscape, the sun, the weather are just a few things that make this place perfect for couples who are looking for romantic, wonderful and intimate wedding location.

Villa Cimbrone in Ravello, with its famous terrazza dell’Infinito, from which you can touch sea and sky with your fingers, is the perfect location for this kind of wedding. Another wonderful place is Villa Rufolo, also famous for classic music concerts.

Microwedding

Microwedding is a cross between elopement and traditional wedding. The guest list is of up to 50 guests. Microwedding, in fact, includes not only the couple, but also immediate relatives and really close friends. This is the perfect idea for low budget wedding, in which the important people of your life cannot be away.

As for elopement, Amalfi Coast offers a lot of romantic and panoramic locations for the perfect lunch or dinner with sea view. Positano and Ravello are the most famous cities for couples who come from all over the world, looking for wonderful and unique places.

Hotel Marincanto in Positano is a really dreamy place, with its spectacular view on the beach and the coast. Its rooms offer private terraces where you can set up a wonderful and unforgettable dinner.

Minimony

Maybe the most recent evolution of the classical wedding, the minimony is another choice for couples who want to say yes in a different way.

In 2020 a lot of couples decide to honor their original date by choosing this kind of intimate ceremony, with up to 10 guests. This kind of organization is perfect for low budget weddings and, as elopement, can be organized in a few months.

Panoramic terraces, beautiful beaches, sunny days, typical music, traditional food and more are all right reasons to choose Amalfi Coast for your wedding: elopement, mini or micro, it doesn’t matter. The only important thing is the love, the eternal power of love!

First of all, a lot of people from America, England, Germany and other countries have Italian roots: some of them were born here and grown abroad, some moved abroad as adults and others were born out of Italy but return here for relatives, such as grandparents and cousins.

Besides, some people of course love Italy for its landscapes and weather, regardless of roots or links with this country. That’s probably the main reason why they decide to get married here. Think of the wonderful Amalfi Coast: no more words needed.

And what about the wedding party?

A lot of couples come here with family and friends and decide to entrust the wedding management to a wedding coordinator and/or a wedding planner, who can help them to organize the wedding in Italy. They guide bride and groom to choose the date, the location, the menu, the entertainment, the music and all that they need and want for this special day.

There are also those who want an engagement private session in Italy. It sometimes happens about one year before the wedding day. Capri and Amalfi Coast are the favourite places chosen by couples.

A different kind of wedding party is the Destination Wedding of just two people: bride and groom. It’s the unique situation in which there are more members from the staff than from the guests.
The couple generally consider this party as symbolic and come to Italy only for having a memory of the wedding in a different place.
Some of them have met here the first time and decide to honour this place: that’s really romantic!

The fault in our stars

After dressing-up, they are ready for the first rite of the day, the civil one, in a garden in Museo Correale, set up for the occasion. Magnificent and elegant flowers adorn the chairs and the garden, where the family and the friends are waiting for Meera.

The bride is from India, while Adrian is from UK. That’s why they decided to do an Indian rite too in another location: Villa Eliana that overlooks the sea and seems to touch Capri. After a shooting in the public park, we are ready for the Indian rite. The main colour is red, symbol of good luck, and each bride’s family member wears his/her traditional dress.
How wonderful is the combination of different cultures, people, dresses, faces all in the Italian background, so peculiar for an Indian and Oriental marriage!

By the end of this sacral moment, everyone can change the dress and the party can start. The villa is a pearl in Sorrento Coast, for its strategic position and its panorama. Imagine this paradisiac place in a sunny day of May: one of the best memories of the last year!

An aperitif on the terrace precedes the dinner with the guests. Between meals and the other the typical and also funny speeches make everybody laugh and move.

The cake cut ends the party, but before a romantic violinist plays some songs for Meera and Adrian and all the couples. This moment of dance closes a romantic wedding at the same way it has began: by love and happiness.

The first place that comes to mind is the island of Capri, famous for its romantic corners and panoramas, that let anybody fall in love.
The most famous island in Mediterranean Sea, Capri is perfect for marriage proposals and engagement sessions. In fact, a lot of couples decide to book a private photo session here and choose another place in Campania for the Wedding.

The famous Faraglioni, the piazzetta, Via Tragara and Augustus Gardens are just a few locations and attractions in this wonderful island, chosen by nature lovers and romantics. It can offer beautiful sceneries  for your surprise, proposal or anything you would give to someone you love.

Another famous and attractive place is the Amalfi Coast, where some typical locations represent the most attractive pole for tourists and couples from all over the world. Why is this place so attractive? The answer is in its beautiful and unique landscapes.

One of the most famous and attractive cities on the Amalfi Coast is Ravello. Here there’s a magic atmosphere, because you can admire the best panorama of Amalfi Coast from the top. How wonderful are Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, jewels of Ravello, surrounded by flowers and trees. It seems to be a paradise on earth.

If you prefer the sand and the sea instead, you should go to Amalfi, Sorrento and Positano. How hard it is choosing one of them, we know!
Amalfi is full of typical streets and shops, that made the centre like a colourful painting. You can live this unique atmosphere, admiring the handmade products and tasting the local limoncello. The famous Duomo is the symbol of the city, you cannot miss it in your shooting.

Sorrento is similar to Amalfi for some aspects, but there’s more. Besides the shops, the sea and the beaches, there’s also a beautiful panorama that can be admired from the top in the public park, that offers a wonderful cloister, perfect for a shooting.

At least, Positano. It’s like a path of love. You start from the romantic streets, colourful and singular. Walking hand in hand hasn’t been so lovely! In the small square, where the church is, old doors and walls hold anything around. And finally you can arrive on the beach, from which you can see the sea on one side, and the typical domes and houses on the other side.
